Judy Ray the Director of Governor Jim Gibbons harrasses Nevada resident

Governor Jim Gibbons' staff is harrassing a woman. Judy Ray the Director of the Las Vegas office is harrassing the woman telling her to get up and drive to the gas company and show them your ID. The woman is explaining to the Judy Ray that she is in a wheelchair and is unable to walk or drive a car.

Donna Skau was contacted first. Donna claims she is the director of human resources in charge of the whole utilility commissioner. Donna claims that she spoke to Barbaree Hollis the manager at southwest gas at 702-365-2189, who said that she is turning off the womans house gas after 28 years of service and there is nothing nobody can do about it.

Barbaree Hollis yelled at the daughter on the phone and demanded that she give up her social security number and birthdate. Barbaree Hollis also demanded that the girl tell her who lives in the house and how many people are living in the house, which is none of the gas company's business. Barbaree Hollis made demands to the customer that if the gas company supplies gas to the house, then it is the gas company's business.

Then Barbaree Hollis said that no utilities can be turned on in that house unless the owner of the house turns them back on!!. But the gas was on the owners name for over 28 years. They took the name off for no reason. Was on for 28 years of unterrupted service without one late payment.

Barbaree Hollis also refused to give her managers name or have her manager return the call. Barbaree Hollis yelled and said it is none of your business who the manager is. She finally gave a last name of Atwood but refused to give a first name. Barbaree Hollis then stated that nobody at the gas company or the utility commission will help you get your gas turned back on and you don't have anymore gas because I authorized to have it turned off and it is going to stay off forever.

No disconnect warning was given prior to Barbaree Hollis turning off the gas. She just turned it off without warning which is against NRS laws.

Rick Hackman a manager of the utility commissioner in Carson City also was spoken to about this incident in hopes of resolving the gas disconnect problem. Rick Hackman yelled at the woman and quoted these words, "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR GAS BILL, MY DAUGHTER DIED 12 YEARS AGO, YOU CAN FILE A COMPLAINT ABOUT ME, I DON'T CARE!"

In addition, Andrea Arthurholtz of the utility commissioners was spoken to about getting the problem resolved. Andrea insisted on talking about her deceased grandmother instead of helping the woman get her gas turned back on. In addition, Andrea Aruthurholtz insisted on telling the gas company customer how her 24 year old son is a drug addict and does not pay his bills and she has to pay his car payments because he doesn't work. The customer stated that she does not want to talk about Andyea's personal life and wants her gas turned back on, but Andrea replied by yelling at the customer telling her that she doesn't have time to get the power turned on and she is on the phone with her son, then she hung up on the woman.

The customer called numerous times trying to get the gas turned back on. According to Barbaree Hollis from the southwest gas, the woman has over 20 pages of notes in her file which were put there by supervisors and customer service personell who laugh, ridicule, make fun of, and deny service.

They refuse to show a NRS statute that says they can turn off her gas anytime such as Andrea Arthurholz claims they can do without reason. They said they are in control of who gets gas in their home in Las Vegas and who doesn't. And they chose to put a block on the house and not supply gas.

The Public utitlity commisoner along with Judy Ray of the governors office state that the gas company does not have to have a reason and they make their own rules. If the gas company makes their own rules and the utility commissioner or the governor's staff does not step in and do their job and stop this unlawful harassment of denying gas service to 40 year Nevada residents, then It is very crucial that the Nevada utilities are deregulated.

Judy Ray says she is not over the gas company and is not in a position to tell them how to run their business. Then Judy Ray tells the woman if she can't walk, then basically too bad for you and there is no other gas company in town, so you don't get gas if you can't walk!

Judy Ray the director the Las Vegas Governors office tells the woman to GET UP AND WALK OUT OF YOUR WHEELCHAIR OR BE WITHOUT GAS!!

JUDY RAY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT SENIOR CITIZENS! Soutwest Gas allows ANYBODY to turn on service online EXCEPT SENIOR CITIZENS. They turned off a senior citizens gas for no reason and are making her go to the gas company and show her social security card. Judy Ray claims that just because the senior does not drive is no excuse that she can't walk to the gas company. The director of the governors off Judy Ray is being Mentally cruel to senior citizens and the disabled. Especially since they allow ANYBODY to turn on their gas online! And the gas has been in the womans name for over 28 years without a late payment!!! HARASSMENT!!

Southwest gas allows ANYBODY to turn on their gas over the internet, ANYBODY EXCEPT SENIORS CITIZENS THAT DON'T DRIVE! SENIORS HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO GO DOWN IN PERSON TO KEEP THEIR UTILITIES ON! SENIORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TURN ON THEIR GAS ONLINE. ACCORDING TO BARBAREE HOLLIS AND JUDY RAY, SENIORS ARE DEPRIVED OF GAS IF THEY DON'T DRIVE. SOUTHWEST GAS TURNS SENIORS GAS UTILITIES OFF FOR NO REASON, THEN PUT FRAUD LIENS ON THEIR HOUSES AND HARASSES THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS.

DEMETRIA GATLIN OF SOUTHWEST GAS PUT A FRAUD LIEN ON THE HOUSE WITHOUT MONEY BEING OWED AND WITHOUT ONE LATE PAYMENT EVER IN OVER 28 YEARS! AND SHE REFUSES TO TAKE IT OFF. According to court documents, Demetria Gatlin is a customer service worker at southwest gas who was turned off the gas after she received an attorney letter. Demetria is not an attorney, but the gas company is allowing her to read attorney letters which come into the office and make decisions on what they say even though she is only a customer service worker. Demetria also turned put liens on three other peoples houses of the same claim.

When the gas is turned back on in the original owners name(the woman who had it in her name for over 28 years), then I will take down this blog completely. It will not be seen again online or anywhere.

UPDATE - JULY 3, 2008: The claim is still on the house and Southwest gas still has not called to confirm that the womans account was put back in her name.

UPDATE - JULY 4, 2008: Customers name is still not put back on her southwest gas bill. Gas company fraudently took off customers name without her permission. Barbery from Southwest gas claims they do not have to give a reason to turn off the gas. Barbery claims she can take it off for no reason. Andy Aruthurholtz, Rick Hackman, and Donna Skau from the Nevada Public Utility commission back up southwest gas's decision and Demetria Gatlins decision to put a fraud claim on the house for no reason. Public Utility commissioners were asked to show a NRS statute stating where it says they can refuse service to senior citizens. Barbry, along with the Utility commissioners and Judy Ray of the governor's office all state they don't need a Nevada statute and they do what they want.

Eric Witoski of the Attorney General of southwest gas, and he stated that Southwest gas can deny service to anybody they desire and they do not have to supply Nevada residents gas if they don't want to. He said they can turn off the gas and put fraud liens on houses for no reason. He said there is no law against it. So if Southwest gas bans that location from receiveing gas, then there is no law that prevents it.

UPDATE - JULY 9, 2008: GAS TURNED OFF WITHOUT WARNING. SOUTHWEST GAS ALONG WITH NEVADA UTILITY COMMISSIONERS REFUSE TO TURN GAS BACK ON.
